JOB TITLE: Health and Social Care Assistant (H&SCA)

Hourly rate of pay £8.80-£9.03 depending on experience.
40 hours - £18,304- £18,782.40 annual salary plus mileage.
60 hours- £27,456- £28,173.60 annual salary plus mileage.
4 weeks paid annual leave per year pro rata.
Attendance bonus: up to £600 per year


Qualification: Good level of English, written and spoken

RESPONSIBLE FOR: To deliver high quality domiciliary care to Customers, primarily in their own home, with the aim of improving quality of life.

Expertise Homecare (Central & West Kent) Ltd are Looking to hire carers to work between 40 – 60 hours per week to support Customers in living a dignified and independent life at home.

This may include provision of personal, emotional, social and physical support in line with the care plan. Our ethos is that you care for our Customers like you would care for a family member, though remembering that this is a business relationship.

The role involves working with vulnerable people, including discussing personal care, confidentiality, sensitivity, ensuring dignity and privacy, and appropriate behaviour are critical elements of this role.

6-month contracts offered with option to extend. No annual leave to be taken in first 3 months.

About you:
We are looking for genuinely caring, reliable and compassionate people to join our team. You will need to be a good communicator, empathetic, flexible, honest and punctual. You must enjoy interacting with people, we will require you to work alternative weekends.
Shifts:
AM shift 7am-3pm (8 hours)
PM shift 3pm-10pm (7 hours)
Long Day 7am-10pm (15 hours)

You must have a full driving licence, when you’re working you will be provided with the use of a manual car to drive. When you’re not working you will find excellent local transport routes.

You will be paid mileage of 22p-44p from your first call to your last call of the day.

Accommodation - we can provide accommodation at a rate of approx. £350 per month including all bills. Price may vary depending on location but will be agreed in advance or you can source your own accommodation.

Location - Kent, United Kingdom
We cover Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks. You’ll be centrally located in one of these areas. Excellent railway links to London. Beautiful parks and towns to explore on your time off.
We will be conducting an online Skype interview before the second stage face to face interview. The face to face interview will be held in Budapest on the 29th January 2020 – 30th January 2020
